“De Hoef (of zoals velen het nog noemen, Hoefplan) bestaat al meer dan 65 jaar. De wijk van nu is goed bekend, maar hoe zag het er uit in de pioniersjaren van de jaren zestig? Hoe was de bereikbaarheid? Wat voor woningen en voorzieningen waren er? Wat gebeurde er en was het er goed vertoeven? Aan de hand van vele verhalen en foto’s uit de krant neemt het Regionaal Archief Alkmaar je mee naar het begin “uitbreidingsplan De Hoef”. Gepresenteerd in een popup expo op het centrale festivalterrein. Dat wordt ongetwijfeld een feest van herkenning.”
